THE CHARTER

One standard, recognized everywhere.

World Space Academy was founded on a simple premise: a mission specialist trained in Nairobi should be as immediately deployable as one trained in Toulouse. We do not compete with national space programs — we supply the common credential they train against.

Every curriculum is reviewed annually by the Academic Board of the World Space Council and cross-referenced against active mission-operations requirements from partner agencies, so the transcript stays current with the field, not with the textbook.

Is this program really open to students from any country?
Yes. There are no nationality restrictions on individual applications. Some regions have dedicated scholarship support through NGO and volunteer-organization partners — mention your country in the query form if you're unsure what's available.
My school isn't a partner yet — can I still apply?
Yes. Individual Registration does not require your school to be a partner. If you'd like your school to get involved going forward, you can also point them to the Institutional Collaboration form.
What's actually included in the program fee?
International airfare and visa support, accommodation, meals, local transport and excursions, full travel and medical insurance, and the complete student kit (space suit, gear, and study material) are all included — see the Benefits section above for the full list.
Do students need prior robotics or engineering experience?
No prior experience is required. Instructors calibrate each rotation to the cohort's starting level, and every student works hands-on regardless of background.
What does an Institutional Partnership actually commit us to?
It depends on the tier. A Feeder Partnership is as light as nominating students each cohort; a Delivery Partnership involves co-running a local satellite version of the activities. The regional coordinator assigned after your request will walk through specifics before anything is finalized.
How is the program credential recognized afterward?
The credential is issued jointly by World Space Academy and the International Space Education Institute and is recognized across the World Space Network partner ecosystem, including by several partner institutions' admissions offices.
